Founder – Superior Livestock Auction
In 1986, his foresight and innovation led to his co-founding Superior Livestock Auction, Inc., the nation's first satellite video cattle auction. The firm is now the largest cattle auction in the United States, marketing almost 2 million head of cattle nationwide each year. In 2006 Buddy's role in the advancement of the beef industry was recognized by the members of the National Cattlemen's Beef Association. At that time, he was presented with NCBA's "Vision Award" for utilization of the latest technology and management techniques to increase the efficiency and profitability of the beef industry.
