3X PBR World Champion Bull Rider
Adriano began his bull riding career at small rodeos in Brazil winning two national titles in that country before moving to the United States. He attributes his success to the “rank” nature of the bucking stock that he grew up riding. After being encouraged by a former PRCA bull riding world champion, Charles Sampson, he set a goal of riding full-time in the United States. Most notably, Moraes became only the third man ever to ride 10 out of 10 bulls at the NFR.
Mr. Moraes and his wife have four children, and Adriano made the statement several years ago, “So I try to tell my boys the reality of bull riding, you know, the pain, the blood, the tears, the frustration, and also I show them the success.” With three PBR World Champion titles to his credit, Adriano was inducted into the Texas Cowboy Hall of Fame in 2018.
